Walter Sandmeyer has a diverse work experience in various industries. Walter started their career as a Lifeguard/Swim Instructor at the Highlands Recreation District, where they taught children how to swim and ensured the safety of the pool. Walter then worked as an Executive Counselor at Champion Summer Camp, leading a team and mentoring assistant counselors.

In 2011, Walter joined ASME (The American Society of Mechanical Engineers) as a Research Intern, where they coordinated technical committees and co-wrote reports on developing technologies and industry events. Walter then joined Critical Engineering Group as a Mechanical Engineer, working on industrial datacenter design projects for clients like Verizon Wireless, Facebook, and Lawrence Berkeley National Labs.

In 2018, Walter joined Full Power Construction as an MEP Project Engineer, overseeing luxury apartment complex construction projects and coordinating communication between various stakeholders. Walter'sresponsibilities included managing subcontractor work and ensuring compliance with city inspections.

Currently, Walter is working at Piper Networks as a Mechanical Engineer/CAD Designer. Walter'srole involves managing machine shop operations, designing waterproof electronics enclosures for mass-production, and testing the durability and operability of housed electronics.

From 2011 to 2015, Walter Sandmeyer attended The George Washington University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering.
