Emma Nesson

Emma Nesson is an accomplished professional in the field of equity research, currently serving as Assistant Vice President of Biotech Equity Research at Piper Sandler since March 2022. Nesson's prior roles at Piper Sandler include Biotech Equity Research Associate and Equity Research Intern. Before joining Piper Sandler, Nesson gained valuable experience as a Research Intern at The Psych Fund, focusing on scientific due diligence for companies involved in psychedelic compounds and their regulatory aspects. Additionally, Nesson worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, investigating exosome-like nanoparticles and their potential applications in combating inflammatory pathways. Nesson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from the University of Southern California, obtained in 2022, after completing studies at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from 2018 to 2020.
