Piper Sandler
Liam Hiester is currently a Biotech Equity Research Intern at Piper Sandler and co-founder, Vice President, and Treasurer of Growing Up Corporate Inc, a nonprofit focused on educating high school students and young professionals about corporate careers. With prior experience as an Associate Researcher in Drug Discovery and Development at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, Liam conducted advanced statistical analyses to support grant proposals. As a Program Outreach Coordinator at the Aresty Research Center for Undergraduates at Rutgers University, Liam facilitated curriculum development and student recruitment. Additionally, Liam contributed to spinal cord injury research during a role as a Research Assistant in the Firestein Laboratory, securing funding and gaining recognition for a senior honors thesis. Liam holds a Master of Science in Applied Analytics from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Cell Biology and Neuroscience from Rutgers University–New Brunswick.
