Shiva Kumar is a seasoned investment banking professional with extensive experience in technology investment banking. Currently serving as Managing Director and Head of Mobility Technology Investment Banking at Piper Sandler since May 2022, Shiva previously held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Ridecell and worked at Jefferies as Senior Vice President in Tech Investment Banking. Shiva's early career includes roles at Deutsche Bank, Merrill Lynch, and advisory positions, such as assisting the Ministry of Finance in New Delhi on regulatory improvements. With a solid engineering background from Intel Corporation and Cognet Microsystems, Shiva holds an MBA in Finance from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, is a Chartered Financial Analyst, and possesses advanced degrees in Electrical Engineering from UCLA and the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
