Trey Thompson

Trey Thompson is an Investment Banking Analyst at Piper Sandler, specializing in Consumer M&A since June 2024, following a role as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at the same firm from May to August 2023. Prior experience includes a position as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at Dunning Capital in the summer of 2022 and a Private Equity Internship at Clairmont Capital Group from January to May 2022. Trey completed a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and History with a concentration in American studies and a minor in Slavic and East European Culture at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where studies took place from 2020 to 2024, having previously graduated from Sanderson High School in 2020.
