Avirup Chatterjee

Avirup Chatterjee has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Avirup is currently the Head of Portfolio & Financial Analytics - Business Intelligence Unit at Piramal Capital & Housing Finance Limited, a position they have held since May 2023. Prior to this, they were the Lead of the Business Intelligence Unit at the same company, where they successfully set up the Portfolio Management & Financial Analytics division. Before joining Piramal Capital, Avirup worked at Fullerton India Credit Company Ltd. as the Product Lead for Secured Products, where they set up the MICRO LAP product and helped create a portfolio of almost 700 crores within 12 months. Avirup also has experience at Axis Bank as a Senior Manager and Product Manager for LAP business, where they developed and implemented product and sales strategies. Avirup's earlier experience includes roles at HDFC Life as Deputy Manager and Management Trainee Bancassurance, as well as a summer trainee position at Wadhawan Holdings Pvt Ltd.

Avirup Chatterjee completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing and Finance from T.A.Pai Management Institute from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they pursued their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Financial Management from Bhawanipore Education Society College and another BBA in Accounting and Finance from the University of Calcutta, both from 2006 to 2009. Additionally, Avirup has obtained a certification in "Work Smarter, Not Harder: Time Management for Personal & Professional Productivity" from Coursera in the year 2017.
