Akash Jyoti Baruah

Akash Jyoti Baruah is a seasoned professional with experience in project management, program coordination, and donor relations within the social development sector. Since March 2023, Akash has been serving as the Program Manager for the Youth Channel at Piramal Swasthya. Prior to this role, Akash worked as a Project Manager at the Social Empowerment and Economic Development Society (SEEDS) from July 2022 to March 2023. Akash's career also includes a position as a Donor Relations Specialist at Rootbridge and a Junior Project Fellow at the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), where involvement in school education research and national policy initiatives took place. Early in the career, Akash served as a Project Associate at NalandaWay Foundation, focusing on the "Art in Education" project for marginalized children. Akash holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences and a Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy from Delhi University.
