Balmukund Sharma

Balmukund Sharma has extensive experience in program management and capacity building within the health sector, having held key positions at various organizations since 1994. Currently serving as State Lead for Chhattisgarh at Piramal Swasthya since October 2021, Balmukund previously worked as Senior Manager in Operation at Piramal Foundation and Regional Manager at Care India, where responsibilities included program oversight across multiple districts, technical support to governmental health initiatives, and advocacy for best practices in maternal and child health. Earlier roles include significant contributions at UNICEF, Care India, and Aga Khan Health Service India, focusing on capacity building and partnerships to improve health outcomes. Balmukund holds an LLB and an MSc in Anthropology from Ranchi University.
