Bethany Turvey is an experienced restaurant manager currently working at Pirata Group since September 2023. Previously, Bethany served as Assistant General Manager at Saltie Girl London from November 2022 to June 2023 and at The Cadogan Arms from June 2021 to November 2022. Additionally, Bethany held the position of Floor Manager at D&D London between April 2019 and June 2021, and worked as Head Waitress at Fortnum & Mason from April 2015 to September 2018. Early career experience includes a role as Waitress at Tamarind Collection from June 2014 to April 2015. Academic qualifications include an NVQ in leadership and management in hospitality from Lifetime Training, a level 2 certification in Wine and Spirits from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust, and a Bachelor of Technology in hospitality from The Grove School.

Pirata Group was founded by Manuel Palacio and Christian Talpo’s mutual and insatiable passion for good food and memorable restaurants. Having forayed in the industry both abroad and in Hong Kong, the duo witnessed a need for good quality yet reasonably priced dining. Putting their heads together, they vowed to create concepts that would leave their guests with long-lasting beautiful memories. Together, Pirata Group team have worked hard to launch warm and approachable restaurants that challenge culinary traditions and explore new flavours.
