Laura Demastrie

Laura Demastrie has over 14 years of work experience in various roles related to art direction, design, and creative management. Laura'smost recent position is as an Art Director at Pirate Labs, where they began in October 2021. Prior to this, they worked at thebrickyard.us as Brand & Creative Director/Designer starting in April 2021.

From 2015 to 2021, Laura worked at Berkshire Blanket & Home Co., starting as a Digital Designer and progressing to Marketing Manager. In their roles, they led a creative team, implemented efficient processes, and built partnerships for brand storytelling and product launches.

Before that, they worked at VOmax as a Senior Designer, specializing in custom athletic apparel, from 2013 to 2015. From 2012 to 2013, Laura worked at Marshall Color Studios as a Graphic Designer and Project Manager, where they developed an automated process to increase production efficiency.

Laura's career began in 2007 at Fashionbuddha Studios, where they served as a 3D & Interactive Designer, creating animated shorts and working on website design and development. Laura also gained unique experience as a Dog Sled Tour Guide at Alaska Shore Excursions from 2008 to 2009.

Laura Demastrie attended Pratt Institute from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree. Laura'sfield of study focused on Interactive Digital Arts & 3D Animation.
