Charles Haney has worked in a variety of positions since 2010. From 2010 to 2013, they worked as a Shelving Clerk at Lone Star College Cy-Fair. In 2013, they became a Cougar Core Coach at the University of Houston. In 2014, they worked as a Writing Consultant at the University of Houston. In 2015, they were an Academic Consultant at Cram Crew, Inc. In 2016, they were a Retail Sales Representative at AT&T. From 2017 to 2020, they were a Field Service Administrative Assistant at the Oregon Beverage Recycling Cooperative. Currently, they are a Customer Service Manager, Shipmaster, and Deckhand at Pirate Ship, where they spearhead a diversity and inclusion initiative and acts as creative director during filming.

Charles Haney is currently enrolled at the University of Houston, where they are studying Interpersonal Communication.
