Ian Smith

Ian Smith has held a variety of roles in the legal and financial sectors. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Financial Services Professional for MassMutual Financial Group. Ian then moved to Casera, Inc. in 2015, where they served as an Account Manager until 2017. During this time, they also held a Legal Advocate role at the Wyoming Outdoor Council and a Research Assistant role at the University of Wyoming College of Law. In 2018, Smith became a Legal Intern at The Spence Law Firm, LLC, and in 2019 they Co-Founded Gear Guarantee. In 2020, they were an Attorney at Smith Law Firm LLC, and in 2021 they were an Associate Attorney at Wylie Baker LLP. Currently, Smith is the Director of Corporate Development at Pirate Ship.

Ian Smith attended the University of Wyoming College of Law from 2016 to 2019, where they earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.). Theirfield of study included Bankruptcy, Real Estate, Business Planning, and Trusts/Wills. Prior to that, they attended the University of San Francisco from 2013 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in International Business.
