Michael Rapp

Michael Rapp is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in engineering and software development across various sectors. Currently serving as the Head of Engineering at Pirros since March 2025, Rapp leads the development of a cloud-native Detail Management System for AEC firms, focusing on integrating advanced technology to streamline construction detail management. Prior positions include Staff Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer roles at Hinge Health, where Rapp contributed to innovative digital healthcare solutions for musculoskeletal conditions, and Software Engineer at Ace Metrix, enhancing video advertising metrics tools. Additional leadership experience as VP of Software Engineering at CherryTree Inc. involved overseeing custom hardware and software projects. Rapp’s foundational skills were developed through a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Utah and various consulting and development roles, including freelance web development and a student management position at the University of Utah Phonathon.
