Lindsay has over 17 years’ insolvency experience in corporate and personal insolvency administrations. He specialises in advanced forms of formal investigation and has had carriage of some of the most complex and sophisticated investigations Pitcher Partners has been involved in to date. 

Lindsay has led a series of international and cross-border investigations and litigation in jurisdictions such as Switzerland, the Channel Islands, the Caribbean, Hong Kong, and the United States (both in New York and Colorado). On a domestic front, Lindsay has worked closely with senior members of various government and law enforcement agencies in connection with multi-agency taskforce operations into matters such as international tax evasion, money laundering, illegal phoenix facilitation and asset recoveries.  

Often in stark contrast to his insolvency investigative engagements, Lindsay has developed a practice advising solvent corporate and family groups on a range of matters from corporate governance, asset protection, restructuring and the acquisition of distressed businesses from other insolvency practitioners. Lindsay currently leads the firm’s fast growing safe harbour advisory practice.

Lindsay’s exceptional industry knowledge, negotiation skills, broad professional network and personal tenacity have seen him achieve extraordinary results for clients.

Lindsay joined the Pitcher Partners Melbourne firm in 2005 and became a partner in 2022. He is a Registered Liquidator.
