Matthew Strauss

Matthew Strauss has extensive experience in the editorial field, currently serving as Deputy Managing Editor at Pitchfork since May 2013, where Matthew has held various roles including News Editor, Associate Editor, Staff Writer, Contributing News Writer, and Editorial Intern. Prior experience includes positions as a Copy Editor and Writer at Inverse from June 2015 to March 2016, and an internship at Merkley + Partners in June 2012. Early in their career, Matthew worked as a Sales Associate at Your Favorite Team from June 2009 to August 2011. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Arts in American History from Columbia University, completed in 2015, and graduated from Earl L. Vandermeulen High School in 2011.
