Sam Fragoso

Sam Fragoso is an accomplished media professional with extensive experience in film criticism and podcast hosting. As the host of the weekly podcast Talk Easy since April 2016, Sam engages in in-depth conversations with diverse individuals across various fields. In addition, Sam founded and serves as Editor-in-Chief for Movie Mezzanine, overseeing a team of over 40 writers focused on a wide range of film topics. Sam's writing contributions include features for RogerEbert.com, weekly reports for SF Bay, and editorial pieces for The Week, alongside work as a contributor for Indiewire and a film critic for Film School Rejects and Fan the Fire Magazine. Sam's career began with the establishment of Duke & The Movies, where content was singularly produced. Sam holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from San Francisco State University, obtained between 2013 and 2017.
