Nathan Barta

Nathan Barta is a Computer Science BS candidate at the University of Pittsburgh, expected to graduate in 2025. Nathan's recent experience includes serving as an iOS Software Engineering Intern at The New York Times from June 2023 to August 2023, where significant contributions included building a remotely configurable post-auth offerwall for the NYT Games app that achieved a 31% increase in subscription conversion rates. Prior to this, Nathan worked as an iOS Engineering Contractor for EZPT at ApexHealth from December 2021 to December 2022, where features developed included voice commands, device leveling, and a media messaging system. In June 2021, Nathan completed an iOS Software Engineering Internship at Leidos, where the development of a mobile application and server-side API took place, alongside support for AI/ML team data remodeling. Nathan completed high school at Chapel Hill High School from 2016 to 2020.
