Joe Brand

Joe Brand is a seasoned sports broadcaster with extensive experience in play-by-play commentary across various platforms. Currently serving as the Radio Play-by-Play Voice for the Pittsburgh Penguins, Brand's career includes roles such as Blackhawks Studio Host at WGN Radio and TV Play-By-Play Broadcaster for both Mediacom Communications and the University of Illinois at Chicago Athletics. Previous positions include Director of Broadcasting and Media for the Traverse City Beach Bums, and producer/voice talent for 87.7 FM The Game. Brand's background also features leadership roles such as Sports Director at WZND Student Radio and reporting at TV-10 News and WFLD Fox 32. Brand holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Broadcast Journalism from Illinois State University.
