Vukie Mpofu

Vukie Mpofu currently serves as the Director of Hockey Operations and Legal Affairs for the Pittsburgh Penguins, a position held since June 2023. Prior experience includes serving as the Manager of Hockey Operations and Legal Affairs for the Los Angeles Kings from August 2021 to June 2023, and completing various legal internships, including roles with Wasserman, Vegas Golden Knights, and Wintersports Ltd. Vukie held multiple leadership positions in the Sports Law Federation at UCLA, culminating in the presidency, while also gaining experience as an NCAA Compliance Extern with UCLA Athletics. Vukie has a Doctor of Law degree with a specialization in Media, Entertainment, Technology & Sports Law from the University of California, Los Angeles, and holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and Economics from the University of Saskatchewan. Prior to pursuing a legal career, Vukie was a forward for the Red Deer Rebels in the Western Hockey League from 2012 to 2014.
