Rachel Beers

Rachel Beers has over a decade of experience in the education and human resources sectors. Currently serving as the Manager of Human Resources at Pittsburgh Public Schools since August 2012, Rachel previously held the position of Project Specialist in Performance Management. Prior to that role, Rachel worked as the Accountability Manager at KIPP DC and began their career as a 6th Grade Teacher with the District of Columbia Public Schools. Additionally, Rachel was a Corps Member with Teach for America. Rachel earned a Master of Arts in Teaching from American University and a Bachelor of Arts in Crime, Law and Justice from Penn State University.
