Shakespeare Contest Coach/preliminary Round Judge at Pittsburgh Public Theater

Tonya Lynn is a certified teacher and adjunct instructor with extensive experience in theater education and fight choreography. Since August 2019, Tonya has been involved with the Society of American Fight Directors and currently teaches at Point Park University and Community College of Allegheny County. As an independent theater professional since 2005, Tonya has created dynamic fight choreography and performed in various esteemed theater productions, including the Pittsburgh Fringe Festival and the Pittsburgh Public Theater. Additionally, Tonya has served as a standardized patient at the University of Pittsburgh and has coached young performers in competitive settings. With a foundational education in both theater and computer science, Tonya continues to contribute to the arts through teaching and performance.
