Kelsey Shannon, J.D. currently serves as the Deputy Chief of Strategic Initiatives at Pittsburgh Regional Transit, a role held since November 2019, and has also held positions as Interim Director of Strategy and Director of Business & Corporate Relations at the same organization. Prior experience includes serving as a Political & Government Affairs Consultant at The Carey Group from August 2016 to November 2019, and as a Legislative Analyst & Project Manager, along with a Legal Extern position at Conlon & Dunn Public Strategies from January 2015 to June 2016. Kelsey also gained legal experience as a Legal Extern at Cook County Government in the office of Commissioner Larry Suffredin and worked as the Summer Program Director for Just The Beginning - A Pipeline Organization. Kelsey holds a Juris Doctor degree from Loyola University Chicago School of Law earned in 2016 and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Ohio University, obtained in 2013.
