Chris Osterwood is a seasoned executive and engineer in the robotics industry, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Capable Robot Components since January 2018 and a member of the Pittsburgh Robotics Network Steering Committee since January 2016. Osterwood has a strong background in technology leadership, having previously held the position of Chief Technology Officer at Carnegie Robotics LLC, where responsibilities included overseeing product marketing and engineering efforts for the MultiSense product line. Additionally, Osterwood has contributed to the field as a senior robotics engineer at Bossa Nova Robotics and RedZone Robotics, where innovative robotics solutions for various applications were developed. Early experience includes founding Botrics, LLC, a commercial venture from a Carnegie Mellon University Robotics Club, while also participating in research initiatives within academic settings. Chris Osterwood holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
