Angela Tegnelia

Angela Tegnelia is the Communications Coordinator for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Angela was previously the Assistant Director of Athletic Communications at Florida Gulf Coast University, where they were responsible for 10 social media accounts, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat. In just two months on the job, they increased the Twitter following for in-season sports by 10%. Angela also created graphics and infographics for social media and marketing uses, composed all press releases for respective sports, handled all media requests for coaches and players, created all content for assigned sports on the FGCUAthletics website, and staffed and managed day of game assistants.

Before their time at Florida Gulf Coast University, Angela was a Communications Intern with the New England Patriots from July 2015 to February 2016. Angela was also a Public Relations Intern with the Cleveland Browns from June 2014 to February 2015. In January 2014, they became a Super Bowl Communications Assistant for the National Football League (NFL), a position they held until February 2020. Finally, from October 2013 to April 2014, they were a Public Relations Assistant - Gamedays for the Golden State Warriors.

Angela Tegnelia's educational career includes completing a degree in sport management from the University of Florida. Angela also attended Spruce Creek High School.
