Derek Rinehart

Derek Rinehart is currently an Equipment Assistant for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Derek previously worked as a Student Equipment Manager from January 2007 to April 2010 for Bowling Green State University. There, they were responsible for purchasing, ordering and repairing sports equipment and apparel. Derek also assisted in negotiating contracts with outside vendors, and was commended for their strong skills in managing inventory with Microsoft Office Suite Products. Rinehart was also responsible for preparing field and locker rooms for practices and events, as well as developing an understanding for fitting student athletes with the proper equipment and apparel. Additionally, they were in charge of setting up CoachComm for practice and games, and handled daily operations with football, basketball, and volleyball.

Derek Rinehart has a Bachelor's Degree in Sports Management with a specialization in Enterprise and a minor in Entrepreneurship from Bowling Green State University.

Derek Rinehart works with Kyle Powers - Equipment Intern, Patrick Noone - Field Manager & Assistant Equipment Manager, and Lou Balde - Equipment Assistant. Their manager is Adam Regan, Equipment Manager.
