Rachel Cohen is currently the Partnership Activation Manager for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Prior to that, they worked as a Project Assistant for the Sports & Exhibition Authority of Pittsburgh and Allegheny County from July 2017 to June 2019. In that role, they managed the usage of North Shore Riverfront Park (NSRFP), including drafting, negotiating and archiving license agreements for special events and ongoing park usage, assuring license compliance (i.e. collecting fees, insurance certificates), coordinate with event planners, monitor, track and close-out events as required. Rachel also coordinated with City special events representative and Alco Parking for events on North Shore, and co-chaired the NSRFP Special Events Committee with City representative, organize meetings, agendas and follow up. Additionally, they budgeted and tracked revenues generated at the NSRFP and other properties if appropriate, wrote general correspondence, maintained all development files and archives, prepared and executed Board meetings and Board briefings, including scheduling meetings, writing resolutions and Board actions, preparing Board materials, coordinating room needs, preparing minutes and producing and tracking all Board agendas/packets. Rachel also assisted in preparing agenda and taking notes for regular David L. Lawrence Convention Center capital/maintenance meetings, assisted staff with SEA Art Committee as required, including taking notes and follow up on tasks assigned at meetings, updated Authority’s website content, advertisements, scheduling, and other tasks as needed; managed SEA Facebook page, and assisted colleagues with special assignments as needed.
Rachel Cohen received their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Robert Morris University in Business Administration and Management, General. Rachel also holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from the University of Pittsburgh in Communication and Media Studies, English Writing and Theatre. Ms. Cohen's academic achievements also include a 4.0 GPA from Our Lady of Lourdes Regional School.
