Chelsea Benson is a Certified Veterinary Technician with extensive experience in the animal care field. Since September 2019, Chelsea has been employed at Pittsburgh Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Center, continuing a career that began with a veterinary technician internship at Metzger Animal Hospital in early 2017. Previous roles include serving as a Certified Veterinary Technician at MedVet and engaging customers as a Demo Specialist at Petco and a Sales Associate at Pet Supplies Plus. Chelsea's foundational experience in animal care includes positions as a Kennel Assistant at Centre County PAWS and a Kennel Attendant at Fuzzy Paws Pet Villa & Spa. Chelsea holds a Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science from Penn State University and an Associate's Degree in Veterinary Technology from the Vet Tech Institute.

The state-of-the-art facility is the most comprehensive multi-specialty veterinary hospital in the Western Pennsylvania area also saw a 4500 square foot expansion in June 2014. It features the modern facilities and equipment necessary to offer the best care for our clients' pets. Our 34,795 square-foot multi-specialty veterinary center contains a variety of specialized areas to accommodate pets' needs.
