Daniel Leo

Daniel Leo is a seasoned GIS professional with extensive experience in spatial analysis, cartographic design, and environmental education. Currently serving as a Senior GIS Analyst at Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority since February 2021, Daniel has previously held positions at Mott MacDonald as a GIS Analyst and at RedZone Robotics, Inc. as a GIS & Operations Coordinator. Daniel’s technical expertise includes the use of the ESRI Arc Suite for managing complex datasets, detailed spatial analysis, and custom environmental modeling. Prior roles also encompass educational roles as an Environmental Education Instructor at RiverQuest and law enforcement duties with the National Park Service, where Daniel provided environmental education and conducted search and rescue operations. Daniel holds a Master's degree in Geographic Information Science and Cartography from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Resource Management from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania.
