Theresa Tupacz is a highly experienced Corporate Sustainability Manager specializing in business strategy and development at Hanon Systems since 2013, focusing on carbon neutrality and renewable energy implementation. As an elected commissioner and chair for Pittsfield Charter Township, Theresa has facilitated the development of a Sustainable Vision Master Plan while increasing parkland and amenities. An appointed council member of the Washtenaw County Environmental Council, Theresa contributed to Michigan’s first county-based Climate Action Plan, Resilient Washtenaw. Prior experience includes finance management roles at Visteon Corporation and Ford Motor Company, where contributions included the restructuring of manufacturing facilities and the development of operating budgets for high-revenue plants. Theresa holds an MBA in Business Strategy from the University of Michigan, a BBA in Economics and Finance from Eastern Michigan University, a Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Wayne State University, and a project management certification from the University of Michigan's Tauber Institute for Global Operations.
