Carlos Felipe Souza

Carlos Felipe Souza has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. In 2013, they started as a Bolsista de Iniciação Científica at OptMA Lab - UFMG, where they developed and tested a new measurement methodology and evaluated sensor characteristics. From 2016 to 2018, they worked at Unitec Semicondutores as an Engineer, contributing to the development of a complete solution for remote diagnosis. Carlos Felipe also specialized in microfluidic components and conducted mathematical modeling. In 2019, Carlos joined Nanotech Explorer as a Product Development Engineer, focusing on portable diagnostic equipment and researching lab-on-chip and point-of-care technologies. Recently, in 2023, they have become an Operations Manager at Pitzi.

Carlos Felipe Souza earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, where they studied from 2009 to 2016. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained certifications in "Circular Economy and 2030 Agenda" from the United Nations System Staff College (UNSSC) in October 2022 and in "A Ciência das Vendas" from LinkedIn in May 2020.
