Frederik Bender

Frederik Bender has a diverse work experience spanning different companies and roles. Frederik co-founded and served as the CEO of piur imaging GmbH since March 2014. Prior to that, they were an Associate at McKinsey & Company from April 2013 to January 2014. Frederik also worked at Siemens Healthcare, starting in November 2007, where they held various positions including Clinical Collaboration Manager and Product and Innovations Manager. During their tenure at Siemens, they played a pivotal role in the product management of an imaging workstation and supported the market launch of a new product in the USA. Frederik also worked as a Summer Associate at McKinsey & Company during June to August 2012. Frederik began their career at Siemens Corporate Research as a Master student at the Department of Imaging and Visualization from March to September 2007.

Frederik Bender's education history begins in 2001 when they enrolled at the Technical University of Munich. Frederik pursued a degree in Computer Science and completed their studies in 2007, earning a Diplom (BSc&MSc) degree. In 2004, Frederik attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign for a year as a non-degree student, focusing on Computer Science. Later, in 2011, Frederik joined Esade for a Full Time MBA program, which they completed in 2013.
