Rachel Getsinger

Rachel Getsinger has a diverse work experience in the field of design. Rachel is currently working at Pivot as the Design Director since February 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Pivot as the Senior Design Lead for almost 10 years, from September 2012 to February 2022. In this role, they led the design team and fostered a creative environment, advocating for the needs and value of the design department.

Before joining Pivot, Rachel worked as the Principal at Rebel Design since January 2009. Rachel also worked as a Graphic Designer at King Magsulit from July 2011 to May 2012. Rachel's earlier experiences include working as a Graphic Designer at The New Cruelty from 2010 to 2011, and as a Graphic Designer at George Fox University from August 2006 to April 2010.

In addition to their design roles, Rachel worked as an Assistant Designer at Metropolitan Presort Inc from April 2009 to July 2009.

Rachel Getsinger attended George Fox University from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained a bachelor's degree in Graphic Design. Following this, in 2011, they pursued further education in Typeface Design through a Continuing Education program at the School of Visual Art (SVA). Rachel also completed a Fellowship in Typography and Sculpture at NYCAMS from 2010 to 2011.
