Balaji Venkataraman

Balaji Venkataraman has a diverse and extensive work experience, starting as a Project Manager at Raytheon in 1989. Balaji then worked as an Operations Manager from 1997 to 2004, before holding various leadership roles at The Dow Chemical Company. Balaji served as the Site Director and Global Director of Manufacturing, Director of Manufacturing, Director of Engineering, Manufacturing Leader, and Technology Leader. In 2014, they became the Global Manufacturing Director and Pittsburg, CA Site Director at Corteva Agriscience. Later, they joined Corteva as Vice President of Operations from 2017 to 2022. In 2023, they took on the role of Senior Advisor at Chemplast Sanmar Limited and then transitioned to the role of Senior Vice President at Pivot Bio.

Balaji Venkataraman earned a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering from Anna University in 1986. Balaji then pursued a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering at Auburn University from 1986 to 1988. Later, they obtained a Master of Business Administration in Business Administration and Management from the University of Alabama at Birmingham from 1993 to 1995.
