Roger C. Underwood

Roger C. Underwood is an accomplished executive and board member with extensive experience in the agricultural sector. Currently, Roger serves as Chair of The Board of Directors and Strategic Advisor at Pivot Bio since January 2018, and as a Founding Investor and Board member at DRYLAND GENETICS, LLC since June 2016, focusing on innovative seed genetics for water-efficient crops. With a long-standing role as a member of the Board of Directors at Kent Corporation, Roger also contributed to Lacrosse Seeds as an investor and board member until August 2019, and was involved in Seeds 2000 until its dissolution in 2011. Roger co-founded and served as CEO of Becker Underwood Inc. from July 1982 to August 2012. Earlier career experiences include roles as Sales Manager for Rosen and Market Analyst at Midland Coop. Roger holds a BS in Ag Business from Iowa State University, earned between 1976 and 1980.
