Kyle Sundman

Kyle Sundman is the Director of Project Development at Pivot Energy. Kyle has over 5 years of experience in the solar energy industry, with a focus on community solar gardens.

Previously, Kyle was the Associate Director of Project Development at Namasté Solar. In this role, they were responsible for identifying and securing development sites, negotiating land agreements, managing interconnection requests, and understanding local zoning and permitting issues.

Before joining Namasté Solar, Kyle was a Project Developer at Oak Leaf Energy Partners. At Oak Leaf, they were responsible for crafting project-specific development plans, compiling and submitting RFPs, and securing PPA's and Subscription Agreements.

Kyle has a proven track record of success in the solar industry. Kyle is an expert in project development, financing, and asset management. Kyle is a highly motivated individual who is always looking for new ways to improve efficiency and increase profitability.

Kyle Sundman attended the University of Denver - Daniels College of Business, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a concentration in sustainable business strategy. Kyle also holds a BSBA from the University of Denver - Daniels College of Business, with a major in international business and a minor in marketing. In addition, Kyle is a commercial-instrument rated pilot and has completed coursework at Colorado Skyways Flight School. Kyle also spent time in Patagonia, Chile as part of a study abroad program through NOLS. Kyle has also received certification from Charles Schwab in level one options trading and from Microsoft in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

They work with Joe Sarlo - Director, Project Management, Josie Shrutz - Director, Project Engineering & Analysis, and Liz Reddington - Director, Project Development, East. Kyle Sundman reports to Garrett Peterson, SVP, Project Development.
