Tom Lenning

Tom Lenning has extensive experience in the aerospace industry, with a focus on sustainment and MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) services. Tom started their career with Lockheed Martin Aerospace in 2000 as the Director of Sustainment and MRO Services, where they were responsible for leading a $1.1B post-production support solution for a complex program. During their tenure, they successfully closed contracts and executed the support solution, which included MRO services, supply chain management, air base facility requirements, design, and technical support.

In 2010, Tom joined Lockheed Martin/Sikorsky/Mubadala Joint Venture (AMMROC) as the Chief Commercial Officer. In this role, they were instrumental in growing the company to over $1B per year within the UAE and across the SAMENA region. Tom also expanded the MRO support capability and staffing to over 3000 personnel. Additionally, they developed a comprehensive and executable multi-billion dollar Performance-Based Logistics (PBL) solution from concept to contract.

After leaving AMMROC in 2014, Tom joined Lockheed Martin as the Aerospace Sustainment Program Director. Tom held this position until 2015 when they transitioned to Aerospace Aftermarket Support as an Aerospace Sustainment Consultant. Tom provided expertise and guidance in sustainment strategies for the company.

Most recently, in 2019, Tom became the Chief Commercial Officer and Program Manager at Pivot Industries Limited. In this role, they oversee the commercial operations and manages the programs for the company.

Throughout their career, Tom Lenning has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of the aerospace industry. Their experience spans various roles and responsibilities, contributing to the growth and success of the companies they have worked with.

Tom Lenning obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Tom then went on to pursue a Master of Science degree in Aeronautical Science from the same university, completing it between 1987 and 1989.
