Marcia Noriega

Marcia Noriega has extensive work experience in the field of educational technology, specifically in the areas of learning technology and content development. Marcia started their career with Walgreens in 2002, where they worked as an Assistant Manager until 2005. From 2005 to 2009, they served as a Technical Writer/Consultant at Walgreens.

In 2010, Marcia joined Pivot Point International, where they held various roles. As a Learning Technology Specialist, Marcia identified optimal solutions for developing and distributing digital learning content. Marcia also developed prototypes and layouts for digital content, conducted usability tests, and researched best practices for education content. Marcia played a key role in the development and testing of a new Learning Management System (LMS) platform and successfully migrated the entire content library into the new system. Marcia also implemented updates and integrated the content library into Blackboard.

Prior to their role as a Learning Technology Specialist, Marcia worked as an Educational Technology Associate at Pivot Point International. In this role, they focused on developing and producing technology-based materials for online education. Marcia converted educational content for online delivery, developed user manuals, conducted training sessions, and created extensive FAQ documentation. Marcia also utilized programming skills for Articulate Storyline software to develop exercises for online courses/programs.
