Raj Swaminathan

Raj Swaminathan has a diverse range of work experience in the software engineering field. Starting in 2005, they worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where they designed an Information flow analysis tool using Ocaml. Raj then moved on to Motorola, where they held multiple roles from 2006 to 2009, including Sr. Software Engineer and Sr. Research Engineer, and contributed to the development of a converged product platform and DSP decoding and rendering of audio formats. From 2009 to 2014, they worked as a Software Engineer at Garmin International, focusing on software development for automotive infotainment and navigation systems. In 2014, they joined Kymeta Corporation as an Embedded Software Engineer, where they developed a full software stack for a DVB/S2 receiver and created a common service framework library. In 2017, they joined Nortek Security & Control as a Senior Software Engineer, responsible for designing software for an emergency responder wearable. Most recently, Raj Swaminathan worked at BLUE ORIGIN as an Avionics Verification Engineer. Currently, they are employed as a Senior Embedded Software Engineer at Pivotal Commware®.

Raj Swaminathan completed their Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Chicago from 2004 to 2006. Before that, they attended Annamalai University, but specific details about their degree and field of study are unavailable.
