Bill Brisko

Engineering Manager at Pivotal Systems

Bill Brisko has over twenty years of experience in engineering and design. Bill began their career in 1996 as a Senior Applications Engineer at PLX Technology, where they were responsible for managing a team of engineers and providing telephone support and failure verification. In 1998, they moved to Seasound Audio as a Senior Design/Development Engineer, where they designed FIR active crossover filters with 96dB rejection in 500 Hz utilizing approx. 300 taps for both high and low frequency components.

In 2002, Bill joined Double Precision Manufacturing as a Senior Engineer, where they assumed ownership of development and production of several robotic arms from a semiconductor equipment manufacturer. Bill then moved to FormFactor in 2007 as a Senior Principal Design Engineer, where they designed and developed robotic probe card heating management system for probing semiconductor wafers during hot and cold test. This resulted in a 5% increase in available tester time and 8% yield improvement.

In 2009, Bill joined EnMole Systems as a Senior Design Engineer/Engineering Manager. Bill designed a complete energy management and control system using ethernet and power line communications protocols. Finally, they worked at Pivotal Systems from 2010 to present as an Engineering Manager, where they managed all electronic design for Pivotal Mass Flow Controller gas valve and designed isolated Flyback switching power supply, as well as high-voltage piezo stack power supply.

Bill Brisko completed a Bachelor's degree in Applied Physics from the University of California, Davis. Bill then attended Golden Gate University, where they are currently pursuing their MBA in Business, which is pending completion.
