Derek Brodie

Derek Brodie has over 30 years of experience in the engineering and technology industry. In 2021, they began working as the Vice President of Engineering Development and Worldwide Field Operations at Pivotal Systems. From 1998 to 2021, they were employed at Applied Materials, INC, where they held various roles, including Director of Global Product Support, Regional Product Support Manager, Conductor Etch 300mm Program Manager, and Product Support Engineer. Prior to that, they were a Customer Engineer at Applied Materials (UK) from 1995 to 1998 and a Photolithography Maintenance Technician at National Semiconductor (UK) ltd. from 1987 to 1995.

Derek Brodie obtained an Ordinary National Certificate in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from James Watt College, Greenock, Scotland from 1986 to 1988. Derek then went on to obtain a Higher National Certificate in the same field from 1988 to 1990. Additionally, they have a certification in Business Acumen for Project Managers from LinkedIn, obtained in August 2020.
