Marcel Amiach

Marcel Amiach has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Marcel started their career as a Jr Software Engineer at RM, where they contributed to the development process and maintained the documentation of the SDKs. Marcel then became a Product Owner, leading the roadmap for all SDKs platforms and prioritizing features and releases.

Marcel later joined Cappta as a Sr. Software Engineer, where they led the development process for the payment app for Android platform. Marcel also worked as a Product Owner at Cappta, responsible for the roadmap of the company's payment app for Android platform.

After that, Marcel worked at Routeperfect as a Product Analyst, supporting the head of product in various activities and implementing A/B tests for conversion rate improvement.

Marcel then joined ACE Aceleratech as an Innovation Leader and Product Manager, leading the discovery processes and conducting persona building sessions and ideation and prototyping processes. Marcel also acted as a Product Owner for a new mobile app aimed at promoting sustainable waste disposal.

Marcel's next role was at Gupy, where they served as a Product Manager and later as a Group Product Manager. Marcel led multiple squads, drove roadmaps, tracked success metrics, and worked closely with UX Designers to prioritize and design solutions for users. Marcel also led strategic discovery initiatives and achieved several accomplishments, such as reducing application form time and improving diversity module.

Most recently, Marcel joined Piwi® as a Product Director. Further information about their role at Piwi® is not provided.

Marcel Amiach pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Escola Politécnica da USP, graduating in 2010. In 2020, they completed an online course in Product Management from PM3 | Escola de Negócios e Produtos Digitais. In 2017, they participated in the MIT Global Startup Labs Brazil program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and also completed a Digital Product Leader program at Tera. Additionally, they attended a Hackathon Design Thinking event at ESPM Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing in the same year.
