Christoph Strecha

Christoph Strecha is an accomplished expert in photogrammetry, mapping, computer vision, and machine learning, currently serving as Chairman of the Board of Directors, Chief Scientist, and Chief Executive Officer at Pix4D since May 2011. Previous roles include postdoctoral researcher at EPFL from December 2007 to October 2012 and postdoc and PhD student at KU Leuven from 2001 to December 2007, where Christoph led research in Structure and Motion and Multi-view Stereo techniques. Early experience includes R&D at Machine Vision Technology in Dublin from 1999 to 2001. Christoph holds a PhD in Computer Vision & Photogrammetry from KU Leuven (2004-2007) and a Diplom in Physics from Leipzig University (1994-1998), with an Erasmus program at the University of Groningen (1994-1995).
