Kapil Khanal

Kapil Khanal is a Senior Technical Support Engineer and Pix4D Community Manager at Pix4D since December 2018, providing technical support to diverse clientele in agriculture and remote sensing applications. Prior experience includes roles as a Drone Pilot and Assistant Researcher at the University of Arizona, where expertise in UAV operation was developed. As a Graduate Research Assistant at Washington State University, focus was placed on mitigating bird damage in fruit crops using unmanned aerial systems. Earlier positions include leading a project for an Earthquake Early Warning System in Nepal, serving as an Assistant Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering, and a trainee at Nepal Hydro and Electric Ltd. Kapil holds a Master’s degree in Biological Systems Engineering from Washington State University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the Institute of Engineering, Pulchowk Campus, Nepal.
