Melwin James Poovakottu has a diverse work experience in various technology-related roles. Melwin James started their career at Panasonic Avionics Corporation as an Aircraft Avionics Tech, where they received an employee recognition award for their contributions. Melwin James performed data analysis, testing, and code optimization to improve the Flight Entertainment System.

Melwin then worked as a Lead Developer and Tester at Sliverline Apps, where they independently developed and launched Android games on the Google Play store. Melwin James utilized Java and ADK for development and implemented agile and iterative methodologies.

Melwin James later joined ZS as a Senior Technology Analyst, working on a Big Data platform for pharmaceutical and fast food industries. Their team won the BioIT-2016 Award for their innovative data science platform that revolutionized the pharmaceutical industry.

Melwin also co-founded Joyryde Technologies, where they served as a Deep Learning and Algorithm Advisor. Melwin James advised on deep learning and AI technologies, contributing to the company's success.

Melwin James then joined Pixalate as a Data Scientist and eventually became the Director of Data Science. In this role, Melwin led and managed data science teams, contributing to the company's revenue through the implementation of AI, machine learning, and statistical techniques.

Currently, Melwin is working as a Deep Learning and AI Advisor at Happy Highways.

Melwin James Poovakottu earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Electronics and TeleCommunications Engineering from the University of Mumbai in 2011. Melwin James then pursued a Master's Degree in Engineering Management from UC Irvine from 2014 to 2015. Melwin continued their education at the University of California, Berkeley, where they obtained a Master's Degree in Information and Data Science from 2017 to 2019. Additionally, they completed several online courses in machine learning and learning techniques, obtaining certifications from institutions such as Coursera and Stanford University.
