Yusra Kayani

Yusra Kayani has a diverse range of work experience in various legal and data privacy roles. Yusra started their career as a Summer Intern at Charles Russell Speechlys LLP in 2012. Yusra then worked as a Legal Associate at Almoayed Chambers - Legal & Business Solutions from 2015 to 2016, specializing in corporate and commercial law. Yusra then joined PRA Health Sciences as a Contracts Associate from July 2017 to December 2017. Yusra further enhanced their legal expertise at Allergan, where they worked as a Paralegal (In-House Counsel) from April 2019 to April 2020. Yusra then joined Porsche Cars GB Ltd as a Data Privacy Specialist from April 2020 to August 2021. Yusra continued their career at Boehringer Ingelheim, serving as a Legal Counsel Data Privacy from August 2021 to May 2023. Lastly, Yusra is currently employed at Pixalate as the Director of Data Protection & Privacy, EMEA, starting from June 2023.

Yusra Kayani obtained a Master of Laws - LLM in International Law from the University of Reading from 2018 to 2019. Prior to that, they completed a LPC degree at BPP Law School from 2013 to 2015. Yusra also holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the University of Reading, which they earned from 2010 to 2013. Before their undergraduate studies, they participated in the University of Reading's International Foundation Degree Programme in Law, Politics & Sociology from 2009 to 2010. Alongside their formal education, Yusra also earned additional certifications, including a One Trust Certified Privacy Professional from OneTrust in February 2021 and a Mediation NOCN Level 1 Certificate from Bracknell & Wokingham College.
