Jacob Kuenzel

Jacob Kuenzel is a Technical Principal Artist at Pixar Animation Studios, with a career spanning from June 2006 to the present. Notably, Jacob contributed as the Character Shading Principal Artist for the upcoming film Inside Out 2 (2024) and Elemental (2023). Previous roles at Pixar include Technical Director and Character Shading Artist on several acclaimed films such as Luca (2021), Onward (2020), Incredibles 2 (2018), and Coco (2017). Jacob also held various engineering positions on notable projects including Finding Dory (2016), Monster University (2013), and Toy Story 3 (2010). Prior to Pixar, Jacob was a Software Development Intern at Cisco in June 2005. Jacob earned a B.S. in Computer Science from Brown University, graduating in 2006.
