Jeremy Heintz

Jeremy Heintz is a Lead Technical Director at Pixar Animation Studios since September 2020, currently leading the Lightspeed TD for the upcoming film "Inside Out 2" (2024). Previously, Jeremy held the role of Senior Technical Director at Pixar, contributing to projects such as "Elemental" (2023), "Lightyear" (2022), and "Luca" (2021). Before returning to Pixar, Jeremy served as a Senior Software Engineer at Micron Technology, focusing on large-scale web applications and agile development projects from April 2013 to September 2020. Additionally, experience includes roles at DreamWorks Animation as a Lighting TA for "Turbo," where file structures and lighting rigs were established, and as a Production Software Tester, ensuring software functionality and stability. Jeremy's career began at the University of Utah, where services and maintenance of Apple computers were provided, and a Technical Undergraduate position at Pixar introduced foundational skills in production software. Jeremy holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with an emphasis in Entertainment Arts & Engineering from the University of Utah.
