Andrew Kusmierczyk

Andrew Kusmierczyk, PhD, currently serves as the Director and Lead of CMC Technical Writing at PTC Therapeutics, Inc. since January 2022, after holding the position of Associate Director in the same department. Prior to this role, Andrew was employed at Cardinal Health from May 2018 to January 2022, where responsibilities included serving as Supervisor and Scientist III in Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls. Andrew's career in the field began at Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis, where an academic position as Assistant Professor spanned from August 2010 to May 2018, following a role at Yale University as Associate Research Scientist and Postdoctoral Fellow from July 2003 to July 2010. Andrew earned a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Brown University and a BS in Biochemistry from Queen's University, bringing extensive expertise in global CMC regulations and guidelines as well as experience in authoring CTD sections.
