Alex Apthorpe FCIM has extensive experience in the field of brand experience and event consultancy. They have worked in various roles and companies, starting from their early career as a Sound Technician at the National Theatre. They then moved on to become a Project Manager at Autograph Sound Recording, where they managed all production IT requirements. They later co-founded The Bridge Live Communications, a leading experiential marketing agency in the UAE, where they handled a wide range of clients and campaigns across the GCC and Middle East.

After that, Alex Apthorpe joined Jack Morton Worldwide as the SVP and Joint Managing Director for the Middle East, where they successfully set up the Middle East office and took on responsibilities such as agency operations, finance, HR, business development, and client servicing. They also delivered impactful brand experiences and events for various clients.

Following their tenure at Jack Morton, they worked as a freelance Brand Experience Consultant and Project Director, providing consultancy services for brand experiences and events, from pitch to reconciliation. They then joined Edelman Middle East as the Director of Experiential, where they headed the experiential department and delivered brand experiences and activations across various sectors.

Later, Alex Apthorpe took on the role of Key Account Director at Action Impact, where they managed key accounts and sold agency services in the live communications field. They also ensured the successful delivery of client requirements by coordinating with different departments within the agency.

Before their current role, Alex Apthorpe served as the Director of Business Strategy at Designlab Experience, where they introduced new initiatives and processes to enhance efficiency and collaboration within the team.

Currently, Alex Apthorpe holds the position of Managing Director for the Middle East at Pixel Artworks, a global leader in using light and pixel technology to create immersive experiences. In this role, they are responsible for delivering unique shared immersive artworks and fostering physical and digital interaction among people.
