Jan Filipowiak

Jan Filipowiak has a long history of experience in the tech industry. In 2021, they founded Virtualist. In 2020, they worked at Hillshade. From 2008 to 2012, they were the Founder and CEO of Pixel Legend, where they led a team of creatives, developers and marketing/sales, managed projects for big brands, and raised funds for their own products. From 2007 to 2008, they were a Multimedia Designer at Levy McCallum Advertising. From 2008 to 2012, they were the CEO and Marketing of Drawart.com, where they bootstrapped a web and mobile development company for clients such as Supagard and Mercedes-Benz. Finally, from 2005 to 2007, they were the Head of DTP at DB Print, where they learned the insides of Desktop Publishing, worked with other designers and printers, and created hardcover publications and print material for the Mapei Corp.

Jan Filipowiak completed their Postgraduate Studies at the West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin from 2004 to 2005, focusing on Web technologies and Graphic Design. Jan then went on to obtain a Master's degree in Media Sociology from Uniwersytet Szczeciński between 1998 and 2003.
